I did well on my sources and didn’t have any problems citing them. I was able to do this well.
I have always been able to properly cite MLA text citations on a works cited page. Even coming into this class feeling like I knew how to do this, I still found myself struggling with it. The works cited pages made in high school were much simpler and less harshly graded than ones made in ENG 110. I was forced to look for small mistakes in my formatting as well as making sure every part of the citation was in the correct place. Quoting is something I had always struggled with. I never knew where to put punctuation as well as ending my quote and putting in the author’s name. By my third paper I was able to do it without thinking, I figured out how I should remember and now I believe it comes to me naturally.
